Today, hundreds of thousands of high school students and SMK are the National Exam (UNAS), which was held simultaneously across the country. Please-please anxious, because the national test results will determine the fate of the students. The test lasted from 17 to 19 April 2007.

Subjects tested only 3 subjects, the 2 subjects for all majors, namely Bahasa Indonesia and English. Then, for science majors subjects tested are Mathematics, Social Science majors get exam Economics and English majors get exam other foreign languages.

Meanwhile, to SMK (vocational), other than the English test, English, Mathematics plus skill or competency exam jurusannya. UNAS also accommodate this time when there are students who fall ill in this 3 day, with a continuation test at the end of April next. April 24,25,26 planned concurrently with the junior high level national examination.

Default value of this year's dinaikan years ago, the minimum average value of 5.00 with a minimum of 4.26 per subject. Years ago a standard high school graduation UNAS level is 4.51. But this year there are additional rules more flexible for students. A value of subjects tested may be 4.00 provided that 2 subjects other minimal value 6.00.

Percentage whether this year's graduation will be greater than years ago?

Logikanya yes. Because of this increase in standards has been announced by the government. Meanwhile, in the schools (at least in the city that I can observe), students are given a lot of material and additional hours. Some schools apply to the hours-0, the more students enter the morning. Or how to add another hour lesson so that students returning from lunch more often, that is 15:00 minutes

However, whether this will increase the quality of a graduate of SMU / SMK? This is a difficult question answered. Because of our national education, are still leaving big questions, that is a matter of quality and how the gap between the teaching area.

For students who live in the city, according to the Percentage my graduation this year will be improved, along with a good school facilities. But what about the schools that are in the outskirts of the city or rural? They still berkutat matter of facilities and infrastructure, have not touched a matter of quality of teaching. So do not wonder if Percentage of students in this area will remain stunted.
