After more than a decade together, Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett is reportedly considering to retire from his group, Gorillaz. Along with the end of their first world tour since the last decade, Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett was mentioned was considering to retire from the Gorillaz.
"We always think that when we arrived at a point where we had to get something, it's time to stop," Albarn said this week, "I can not continue with the steps and measures such as this."
Comments Albarn is something unexpected, especially because the band was getting guest stars include Lou Reed and Bobby Womack.
The band was on tour in the largest arena in their careers, even they have talked about new album, recorded in Albarn's IPAD and will ship before Christmas.
"Surprisingly, it was a success not qualified. But sometimes, we have to stop when a step ahead," he said.
Hewlett added that this is a good time to leave the Gorillaz, which is now the end of the tour later. Although he admitted to not quite ready to cry over his mask Murdoc and Noodle.
